Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail

A future virtual edition of the roughly 33-mile Santa Cruz Mountains corridor from Castle Rock through Big Basin to Waddell Beach. Fire damage from the 2020 CZU Lightning Complex means the route is not currently open end to end; this preview celebrates the full corridor without implying access.

Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail
Trail preview. This catalog stub establishes the journey, source boundary and completion concept. Its full milestones, poster, passport stamps and certificate design are still in the production queue. Personal walk tracking will open after hiking-specific milestones, stories and safety context are authored.
Completion concept for this preview. Once tracking is available, full-route completion is planned to use the title Skyline-to-the-Sea Virtual Completion, recording the participant, distance, completion date, earned milestones and any staged prerequisites. Sections receive a section accomplishment. This recognizes virtual activity and is not an official trail-organization credential.
